The role
We have an opportunity for a Hydraulic Modelling Engineer to join our team, where you will focus on providing advice, service and support to analyse and predict behaviour of the water and sewer networks through computerised hydraulic models.
Your key responsibilities Collecting, interrogating and validating large datasets associated with hydraulic modelling Regularly review and interpret calibrated hydraulic models for water and sewer Working collaboratively with the business on various modelling requests Engagement and management of contractors to deliver asset relocation/alteration works Managing predictive modelling and automation projects to re-engineer and streamline business processes Managing the day-to-day operations of all aspects of hydraulic models (water and/or sewer) Skills and Experience Excellent ability to communicate complex technical issues Demonstrated competency in managing and improving hydraulic modelling systems Excellent ability to work with stakeholders and negotiate effective outcomes Strong attention to detail A qualification in Engineering, or other relevant industry experience, highly desirable Experience in infoWorks ICM, InfoWorks WS, IWLive or similar modelling software.
