We currently have opportunities for Hydraulic/Mechanical Fitters to join our skilled workshop team based in Noble Park.
This role will see you completing a full range of hands-on activities such as repairs, installations, maintenance, testing, modifications, diagnosis of issues, and optimization of performance to service customer equipment in line with company standards, policies, and procedures. Predominately this will take place on the service of various Hi-Rail transport equipment. Primarily based in our Noble Park workshop, this role has an occasional requirement to work on the customer's premises from time to time.
About You Relevant trade qualifications (i.e., Diesel, Mechanical, or Hydraulic Fitter)Demonstrated experience in a similar roleSound knowledge of hydraulic fault finding, servicing/repair, and testing/commissioning proceduresAbility to read and interpret hydraulic schematics together with sound service report writing capabilitiesHydraulic hose manufacturingBasic understanding of transport equipment, i.e., cranes, tippers, tail liftsBasic understanding of electrical wiringEffective communication, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to work well within a team and autonomouslyValid driver's license and demonstrated safety-first mindsetIn return, the successful candidate will receive:
