Hydraulic Fitter

Permanent role within a small team who supply and maintain hydraulic equipment. Bringing engineered drawings to life! Building & servicing HPU's.
26th September, 2024 Our client, based in Bibra Lake, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality hydraulic equipment used in the mining, agricultural, and oil/gas sectors. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are currently seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join their tight-knit team on a permanent basis.

The Role: This role will see you responsible for custom builds of predominantly HPU's, as well as repairs and upgrades. This project-based work will have you bringing their custom solution engineered drawings to life.

Other duties will include:
Strip hydraulic and pneumatic components and provide an analysis for accurate quoting and then rebuilding within the quoted timeframes. Complete service work on hydraulic systems and fault-find issues. Operate oil purification equipment to maintain customer machines. Operate test bench for hydraulic testing purposes. Operate and fault-find control systems. Our client is looking for someone who is driven, has a willingness to learn, and a passion to grow within the business with onsite training and growth for the right person!

About You: To be successful in this position, you will need to possess the following:
Trade certified (Australian recognised). Experienced in hydraulics and pneumatic products. Current driver's license (reliable vehicle to get to and from work). Forklift License. Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen. Your standard working hours will be Mon – Fri; 8am-4pm, although some overtime at penalty rates is on offer. Your hourly rate is negotiable depending on your skills and abilities, ranging between $50-$60 per hour + super. Being a permanent role, you will incur all your entitlements, e.g., sick pay / holiday pay, etc.
