About the role We are currently looking for an experienced HVNL Compliance Supervisor to join our team working on a major project in Victoria. Reporting into the Project's Logistic Lead, your role will be to ensure all parties within the supply chain actively adhere to and prevent breaches of the Heavy Vehicle National Law. Key responsibilities Assist the project with developing the CoR management Plan and strategy to manage CoR related risksProvide expertise, mentoring and guidance to ensure that transport safety standards and legislative requirements are met by all parts of the project supply chain, as well as compliance with the Safety Management SystemConduct and coordinate assurance activities and support the close out of non-conformitiesDevelop specific documented practices that relate to transport safety/chain of responsibility either directly or through partnership with other key teams in safety, operations and support functionsProvide expert advice on issues that impact the effectiveness of the safety strategy, safety performance and opportunities to optimise safety outcomes.Lead and ensure continuous improvement and maintenance of the relevant risk management programCoordination and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance is maintainedAssisting the wider team to investigate and result any HVNL/COR related breaches or incidentsMaintaining accurate records and documentation, and complete reporting as required to the relevant stakeholdersConduct regular CoR and Vulnerable Road User training with heavy vehicle driversAbout you Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility legalisation and Heavy Vehicle national LawPrevious experience with safety and compliance auditingDemonstrated experience coordinating logistics on construction sites to meet COR requirementsOperational experience in Logistics / Transport coordinationSafety values, communication skills, and interpersonal skills are essentialFlexibility to work weekend shifts and night shifts when required. For any rostered weekend shift work completed, you will be eligible for additional compensationHold a current drivers licenseDiploma in HSC and/or Statement of Attainment in Chain of Responsibility or similarBenefits We work hard to create an environment that brings out the best in our people.
