Hvap Shift Technician - Central

Position: HVAP Data Centre Shift Technician
Location: Docklands, LondonShift Pattern: ContinentalSalary: £48k - increasing to £50k once on site HVAP secured
Key Responsibilities:Electrical Systems Maintenance: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in compliance with industry standards. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Execute scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all electrical equipment and infrastructure. Reactive Maintenance: Address day-to-day electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption. System Management: Utilise computer-based systems for PPM reporting; manage fault identification, rectification, and escalation. Communication & Reporting: Collaborate with the Shift Supervisor, providing updates on plant status, ongoing maintenance work, and any arising issues. What We're Looking For:Experience: Previous experience in the Building Services industry, particularly in critical environments, is essential. Qualifications:City & Guilds or equivalent in electrical services/maintenance 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations HV Approved Person Skills: Strong technical proficiency, especially with UPS systems, generators, and HVAC equipment. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Personal Attributes: Proactive, reliable, and committed to achieving high operational standards.
