Connect People have an opportunity for a HVAC Technician with experience in Maintenance and Fault Finding to operate in the commercial sector. The position is Full-Time hours with potential overtime. Employment will be for the maintenance of a major Melbourne Hospital complex. The role itself will be working within a team of trades professionals and performing general maintenance works as well as fault finding works. The right person will be flexible and adaptable to new environments and have the ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Required Experience:
Demonstrated Industry Experience
Fault Finding Skills
Physically fit
Experience with Air Handling Units and Chillers
Able to complete all required reporting in a timely and efficient manner
Experience in breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
Be an effective communicator with the ability to work without supervision
Willing to participate in a Call out Roster of 1 week in every 5
To be eligible for the role you must possess the following:
Relevant Trade Qualification
Current National Police Check / or be able to complete one
Hold a current Drivers licence
Hold a current Refrigerant Handling Licence
Be of good health and pass a pre-employment medical
Current Working with Children Check or be willing to get one
Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 including booster (3rd Dose)
