The Position The role is for a Technician to Service, Install and Repair all Air Conditioning equipment at all the local Alcoa sites (Wagerup, Pinjarra, Willowdale, Huntly and Bunbury Port) The foundation of the contract is Maintenance, We have a built a team with a strong morale over the past few years with a strong retention rate, who enjoy working with each other every day, in the role you can work on a few sites a week depending on the workload, Predominantly it will be two days on the mine site and 3 days on the Refinery.
Work independently and travel throughout Peel & South West WA (Rockingham to Bunbury) in a Company funded vehicle.
Job tasks and responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration, ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment, including (but not limited to): Package units, High Wall Splits, Units, Under Ceiling and In Ceiling Cassettes, Control Circuit Wiring.
Identify maintenance risks and diagnose electrical / mechanical faults for all HVAC systems.
Assist with equipment reporting, procurement, delivery coordination and logistics Attend critical breakdowns and perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
Ensure compliance with machine standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Essential requirements Must Live in the Peel Region due to Project Sites Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
Restricted Electrical License (Qualified A Grade Electricians will also be considered).
OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card.
Valid Driver's License – "C" Class (Manual).
