About the Role: RPR Trades are partnering with a company that completes a variety of construction and maintenance work on state owned / managed buildings.
There are current opportunities for a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to work in and around the Brisbane CBD on commercial projects.
As city centre based, it is suggested that travel to site is best by public transport.
Basic tools is all that is required with all larger tools provided on site.
This is a great opportunity to gain project work in Brisbane, that will provide a platform to gain more of the same as contracts regularly arise.
About You: Past proven experience in a similar role.
Be a Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to Australian Standards.
Hold a Construction Safety Card Be able to read detailed plans.
Be able to pass a police check Refrigeration Handling License Restricted Electrical license Up to $50/hr Permanent with vehicle and fuel card.
Key Responsibilities: Installation and Commissioning: Install new refrigeration units and systems.
Ensure proper functioning of installed equipment through testing and commissioning.
Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all refrigeration systems.
Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration equipment.
Replace worn or defective parts to ensure optimal performance.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
Maintain records of maintenance and repairs as per industry standards.
Ensure all equipment complies with environmental and safety standards.
Operational Efficiency: Monitor the performance of refrigeration systems to ensure efficient operation.
Implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and reduce downtime.
Provide technical support and training to other staff as needed.
