Our team is based in Queanbeyan, and you will be working on sites around the Canberra area. You will work on a range of new construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects, both small and large in scale, and your drive and enthusiasm will be recognised and rewarded.
Responsibilities:
Supervise HVAC site teams on projects of all sizes.
Promote and model Benmax values and behaviours.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards including Benmax WHSEQ systems.
Communicate effectively with site personnel, site manager, project manager and client to ensure job schedules are met and projects run smoothly.
Plan work schedules effectively and manage labour costs against budgets.
Set KPI's for broader team members and monitor progression.
Improve site efficiency and effectiveness by seeking to continually improve HVAC systems and processes.
Ensure a safe work environment, including using and maintaining equipment correctly.

About you
To be successful in the position, you will have the following:
MUST have permanent rights to work in Australia and ability to obtain a security clearance (essential).
Certificate III in Plumbing or Air-conditioning and Refrigeration (essential).
Five years' post-trade experience (essential).
Work Health & Safety for Managers (Certificate IV WHS or equivalent) (desirable).
Current and unrestricted Australian Drivers' Licence.
OH&S General Induction (White card).
Ability to read, comprehend and build to specifications and drawings.
Ability to supervise, direct and motivate site teams.
Highly developed workload planning, organisational and time management skills.
Professional attitude and excellent attention to detail.
A genuine interest and passion for working as part of a small, professional team.
