Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HVAC technician in Melbourne. As a HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for our commercial clients. Your expertise will ensure that HVAC systems operate efficiently, meet performance standards, and comply with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
You will travel between various job sites daily, including Retail, Banking, Government, and Petroleum locations.
Our dedicated head office team will manage your schedule, and you will have support from your own coordinator.
Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs commercial HVAC systems.
Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and project managers to complete HVAC projects efficiently and effectively.
Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations and safety standards.
Work collaboratively with team members and maintain clear communication with clients to deliver exceptional customer service.
Keep accurate and detailed records of work performed, including reports and service documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications or certifications in HVAC and refrigeration
Valid driver's license
Current ARCtick National license for fluorocarbon refrigerants
Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably a background in commercial HVAC systems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A national police check and medical assessment will be part of the recruitment process
