HVAC MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – JOB DESCRIPTION HVAC Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: The HVAC Maintenance Technician performs daily monitoring, repair, and preventative maintenance activities on critical systems and equipment.
The HVAC Maintenance Technician also troubleshoots, installs, and modernizes new and existing HVAC systems.
The HVAC Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Regional Manager of Facilities and Maintenance.
HVAC Maintenance Technician duties will include, but are not limited to: Conduct regular inspections and ensure upkeep and maintenance of all HVAC systems.Assist in making decisions on repairs and report major problems to the Regional Manager of Facilities and Maintenance as appropriate.Construct, finish, install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems.Clean, lubricate, service, repair, or diagnose malfunctions of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical building and specialty equipment items.Record all day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken.Respond to emergencies in a timely manner.Experience/Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.Technical diploma or equivalent.Minimum of three (3) years of HVAC maintenance experience.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.Valid Driver's License.Skills: Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, or models.Ability to make routine computations related to blueprints, equipment schematics, or other technical applications.Standard Maintenance or Electrician certifications.Hours: The HVAC Maintenance Technician is a full-time position and works a minimum of 40 hours per week.Salary/Income: The HVAC Maintenance Technician is an exempt, salaried position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
