GHD are already assisting clients on major transmission projects such as Project EnergyConnect, HumeLink and Central-West Orana REZ, however there is a lot more to do across ANZ.We are inviting applications from experienced and enthusiastic HV Transmission Line Specialists across Australia and New Zealand.
These roles provide the opportunity to work with an established team on a range of industry leading Australian, New Zealand and international projects as part of the energy transition.
Join us now as we continue to grow on this exciting journey.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Delivery of overhead HV transmission line solutions at feasibility, concept and detailed design phases.
Assisting with the estimating and preparation of HV transmission line tenders and proposals.
Performing QA reviews for work completed by peers to ensure the engineering and commercial outputs are of a consistently high standard.
Establishing and maintaining client relationships.
Working with our Australian, New Zealand and international teams to deliver a wide range of projects What would you bring to the team?
Tertiary Engineering qualifications 5+ years professional experience in an engineering environment Relevant business development skills and high levels of market connectivity Thorough understanding of infrastructure project development lifecycle.
Ability to work independently on challenging large-scale projects and consistent record of successful project delivery.
Demonstrated experience in HV (132kV to 500kV) overhead line design including all aspects of documentation (reports, drawings, .
Strong understanding of transmission line construction practices.
Demonstrated experience in application of relevant multidisciplinary National and International standards, industry guidelines and current industry practices.
Advanced user of the PLS-CADD/ PLS-POLE/ TOWER suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team player, cooperative with other staff and open sharing of knowledge.
