You will be required to attend to and rectify faults in a timely manner, which will ensure minimal loss of supply and disruption to the customer.
YOU'LL NEED THESE TO SUCCEED A committed attitude to safety; safety is at the heart of our business and an essential core valueExperience with HV / MV distribution cablesThe ability to carry out electrical testing such as Insulation Resistance, VLF testing etc on CablesThe ability to self-manage projectsAbility to work alone in working an industrial/mining services workshopExposure to HV electrical equipment and systems for mining and utilitiesAbility to work underground if requiredAbility to travel away for work all over NSW as part of a maintenance teamEDUCATION Electrical trade qualifications with a Qualified Supervisors LicenseCertificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Cable Jointing (preferred)Understanding of electrical schematic and wiring diagramsThink you know Ampcontrol?
