Your New Role
This is an ideal stepping stone for ambitious lawyers seeking to build broad experience while maintaining a healthy work life balance. Working closely with the Senior Manager Governance & Risk and General Counsel, you will:
Develop expertise across diverse practice areas including property, commercial, and administrative law
Draft and negotiate various commercial agreements and legal instruments
Manage property transactions and lease arrangements
Handle statutory compliance matters
Gain exposure to tribunal and court proceedings
What you'll bring:
Admission (or eligibility for admission) as a legal practitioner in Tasmania
Sharp analytical mind and practical problem-solving approach
Strong communication skills and professional confidence
Keen interest in local government and community outcomes
Proactive attitude and ability to work both autonomously and in a team
