About the role
We are seeking compassionate, conscientious, and motivated Allied Health Assistants to work within our Care Kids Squared brand. At Care Squared Kids , you must be able to provide education and support to our customers and NDIS participants, inclusive of evidence-based assessment and intervention. It is important that you display exceptional communication and time management skills and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a multi and transdisciplinary allied health team.
Amongst your desired caseload you will:
Manage your day-to-day client activities to support positive outcomes for your clients and their families Provide client-driven, evidence-based therapy services to clients in their home and community environments, focusing on their personal goal attainment Provide therapy services either individually or as a member of an interdisciplinary team Liaise with external stakeholders, such as other health professionals, NDIA-related entities, family members, educational staff, and community members, to provide individualised support plans About you
In order to thrive in this role, it's essential that you have:
Currently studying a Speech Pathology degree or have previous experience working as an Allied Health Assistant in the Speech and Language space A passion for supporting people to maximise their independence and realise their full potential A high level of verbal, written communication and computer literacy skills A valid driver's licence with access to your own vehicle A willingness to complete criminal record and working with children check (or state equivalent) A willingness to complete a working with vulnerable people check (or state equivalent) What we offer
