Saint Yon Trade Training Centre, incorporated within the College, is a high quality training facility offering specialised vocational training to senior students.
Teaching/training staff assist the Principal and the Head of Trade Training in meeting the educational, workplace training and pastoral needs and requirements of students.
The role is focused on delivering high quality, personalised student learning experiences via both face to face and /or online learning.
The applicant will be responsible for supporting and mentoring a group of vocationally-focussed students.

About You LaSalle Catholic College Bankstown is seeking an enthusiastic Trade Trainer to work at our school.
As a suitably qualified Trainer, you will be a dynamic educator, keen to engage and inspire our students and deliver a curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles.
You will also play a vital part in developing and implementing effective lesson plans to ensure high-quality student learning and engagement.
To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate: ability to deliver high quality, personalised training specific to the qualification ability to support and supervise a group of vocationally focused students ability to liaise with industry representatives whilst supporting the workplace learning program effective teaching/coaching skills sound written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills a commitment to quality education and training and to sharing your industry knowledge with your students ability to work as part of a team of trainer educators a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members experience in training and mentoring young people in an employment or educational environment (highly desirable).
You will have attained: relevant industry qualifications in Individual Support: Aged Care preferably CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support or an equivalent qualificcation gained as a diploma or degree in nursing current industry skills, knowledge and experience directly relevant to the training and assessment Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or be prepared to obtain) demonstraed passion to work with young people in an educational setting.
