This is a full-time opportunity for a Human Resources Specialist to join the passionate team at the Bunbury-Harvey Regional Council.
As the Human Resources Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Council's workforce and contributing to the delivery of essential community services.
What you'll be doing Provide expert HR advice on a wide range of HR mattersManage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboardingEnsure HR policies, procedures and practices are compliant with relevant legislation and regulationsAdminister payroll, leave, and other HR-related systems and processesAssist with the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiativesPartner with leaders to build capability, engage teams, and foster a positive workplace cultureMaintain accurate HR records and provide detailed reporting as requiredWhat we're looking for Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline3+ years' experience as a HR Specialist or in a similar generalist HR roleDemonstrated expertise in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and HR policy developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationshipsProven ability to work collaboratively and provide pragmatic, solutions-focused adviceConfident user of HR information systems and data analysis toolsStrong ethical principles and a commitment to maintaining confidentialityWhat we offer At the Bunbury-Harvey Regional Council, we are committed to supporting our employees' growth and wellbeing.
