If you're a hands-on operator with demonstrated experience in managing ER/IR cases, performance matters and investigations, succession planning, aiding retention, and coaching leaders in a blue-collar environment, and you're looking for an opportunity to enter the Healthcare/Aged Care industry or a change to a values-based NFP experiencing growth, this could be it. Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will partner with the wider leadership group who truly value your support. Recognised as an SME, you will provide expert advice, solutions, coaching, and support on the full range of people matters across a growing, diverse workforce.
Your ability to engage, influence, and coach, combined with a proactive approach and adaptability to workforce changes and business needs, will contribute significantly to your success in this vital, high-volume generalist role as a member of our senior leadership team.
Responsibilities within this role will include: Providing specialist advice and coaching on effective people management, including in areas of employee relations, performance management, workplace culture, policy interpretation and applicationConducting investigations and providing recommendations for resolutionCoaching leaders in strategies and processes for effective people management and employee engagement and building suitable workplace programsParticipating as an HR Lead Project Team Member on allocated Operational or HR-wide ProjectsProactively analyse and report on people metrics, identifying trends and areas for action and present workforce data across various meetingsDevelop and oversee workforce training programs and ensure complianceCreate and publish compelling engagement communications for the workforceManage the HR inbox and offer support and advice on complex employee queriesLead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for all frontline, clinical and corporate employeesManage processes, documents, and records for employee transitions and position managementProactively lead and monitor all RTW coordinationEnsure accuracy in employee records and maintain the HRISDraft employment contracts, probation confirmations, and other HR-related documents with precisionWho are we looking for? The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and organised individual who is solution-focused and has exceptional interpersonal skills to support effective HR Operations. In addition, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications (desirable) in Human Resources or experience in a related fieldSignificant demonstrated experience in a high volume/fast-paced HR Operations position within Aged or Disability Care, Health Care, FMCG or related 24/7 operational type environments - essential to be consideredDemonstrated experience working with unions and employment lawyers on people mattersExtensive knowledge of employment legislation, regulations and Enterprise AgreementsAdvanced coaching, influencing & communication skillsDemonstrated experience and confidence with volume ER & IR-related mattersCurrent Driver's LicenceWillingness to apply for a Police CheckWhy Join Orana Gardens? This position's salary range is $85,000 - $95,000 per annum, plus superannuation, NFP Salary Packaging, and Novated lease options. The range may be adjusted commensurate with experience.
