They will be required to coordinate HR activities across selectability's footprint and are integral in supporting managers and other employees throughout this footprint.
Main Duties: Recruitment, including: Placement of job advertsCandidate screeningCoordinating interviewsGuiding new starters through the onboarding processPreparing employment contractsCoordinating performance reviewsExiting employeesEnsuring human resource compliance requirements are metManaging employee learning and competenciesProviding support to leaders in performance management mattersManaging grievances in a fair processAbout you You will bring to the role:
Minimum 3 years experience in human resourcesSound understanding of the Fair Work Act and other relevant legislationExperience in community mental health, NDIS, aged care or child safety is highly desirableBe extremely organised and efficient with an eye for detailHave well-rounded administrative skills and experienceRespect and demonstrate a high level of confidentialityHave excellent interpersonal skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsExperience in having difficult conversationsProficient in Microsoft Office suites of programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and TeamsDemonstrated experience in databases, experience in TRACCS and PageUp would be highly desirableHave a genuine interest in progressing your career in human resourcesQualifications: Cert IV in Human Resources or above would be highly desirable, a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain prior to commencing), a current yellow card exemption or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain prior to commencement), NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificate (visit to access this free module which takes 1 to 1 ½ hours to complete)
