Human Resources Officer Glencore's McArthur River Mine has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator or HR Officer to join the team. You will join a small team of HR professionals, providing value-added HR service delivery across our operations.
This is a site-based role on a 9-day fortnight (5/2, 4/3 roster).
About the role: On a daily basis, you will provide services including:
Administration support to Advisors and Senior Advisors with daily tasks. Assist with recruitment process, job posting, screening resumes, conducting phone screens and onboarding of new employees. Processing employee variations and other employee data changes through a range of internal systems and issuing appropriate documentation to employees and payroll. Maintaining accuracy and compliance of employee records and information. Build quality partnerships with employees through delivery and implementation of HR policy and procedures. Contributing to the development, evaluation and review of HR policies, processes and procedures, ensuring they are compliant with legislative and reporting requirements, and making recommendations for improvement. To be successful in this role you will have: Cert IV or Diploma of HR or Business Administration (Desirable) Solid, proven expertise and knowledge in Administration functions. Demonstrated ability in managing varied and conflicting demands to agreed standards and timelines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with accuracy at the forefront. Location: This role supports a mine which is fly in fly out from Darwin therefore a commitment to work remote is essential.

It is then stored and transported to our Bing Bong loading facility and shipped to our customers worldwide.
