Scope to grow and develop!THE OPPORTUNITY As Head of Human Resources for ANZ, you will work directly with the leaders of the ANZ business and the HR Director APAC to design, develop and deliver the Human Resources strategy & initiatives.This role also delivers HR operations services such as staffing, onboarding/exits, compensation and benefits administration, training and organisational communication.
This role is a key member of the ANZ Leadership Team.This role will act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager (Sydney based) & Operations Manager (Adelaide based) by providing advice, guidance and positive challenge to create the right culture for the company's continued growth.The person in this position will have a big seat at the leadership table, so needs exceptional initiative to build relationships with all key stakeholders around Australia constantly 'pulse checking' to understand what's going on in each area of the organisation, good and bad, to implement strategies and solutions for improvement.The Head of HR will contribute to the development of the leadership team and ANZ business.Key responsibilities for this role: Gaining a deep understanding of the business to contribute to the commercial strategy and building relationships with key stakeholders.Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with APAC Region.Provide expert advice and support to leaders on the full range of employment related matters, consulting or working in conjunction with other HR colleagues and external consultants/advisors as necessary.Employee Development Review/Talent Management.Change Management, pulse checking organisational climate.Organisational Structure Design & Job Profile Development.Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Development.HR Operations.Creating a compelling EVP including wellness strategies.Projects within the APAC region and globally.WHAT YOU WILL NEED University qualifications preferred in HR or relevant business degree.Between 7-10 years relevant experience in a commercial HR leader position or you might be looking for that next step, you've been a Senior HR Business Partner for the last 5 years, looking for more, (please note this role has NO direct reports).You will have experience working for a multi-national company with a matrix structure that has multiple reporting lines.Initiative, pro-active approach is key with strong administration and organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously, able to make decisions independently.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to analyse complex issues and recommend and implement practical solutions and build relationships with leaders and the organisation as a whole in ANZ and globally.An international mindset – culturally aware, flexible and pragmatic.Strong data/numerical skills.Strong influencing experience, the personality and presence to bring people on the journey with proven experience in transforming organisations.Demonstrable experience in the following areas:ResourcingOrganisation Design & EffectivenessTalent ManagementPerformance ManagementOrganisation DevelopmentCompensation & BenefitsEmployee RelationsHRIS – preferably Oracle or TaleoSome local and international travel expected in this role – up to 15%.Excellent spoken and written English with significant ANZ HR experience.Interested?
