Management - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment) Full time Salary: $120,000–$130,000 p.a.
+ Super + Salary Packaging

We operate four Residential Aged Care Facilities as well as Serviced Apartments and five Independent Living Villages.

THE OPPORTUNITY An ideal opportunity is now available in this growing organisation for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Human Resources professional with a passion for people.
You will thrive in this role as you embrace your people-focussed approach in ensuring excellent Human Resources practices are implemented and maintained at all levels of the organisation.
Working closely with the Executive Manager People & Culture and the wider Leadership team, you will ensure consistent compliance with Human Resources standards and Warrina Homes' policies and procedures.
In addition, this role oversees and implements all Human Resources functions to enable effective and efficient operations while supporting service excellence and a high performing culture.
Key responsibilities of this role: Promote and maintain a positive workplace culture where employees are valued and acknowledged.Provide support and advice to ensure contemporary and sound Human Resources practices in all aspects of the business.Coordinate and oversee employee development, training, mentoring and coaching activities.Promote an inclusive and welcoming workplace where diversity is respected.Execute and oversee Human Resources functions (including recruitment, reward & recognition, attraction & retention, onboarding and offboarding, etc.)
that are effective and align to good corporate governance.Execute and maintain performance management and disciplinary processes that are contemporary and compliant with Australian employment legislation.Perform and coordinate the Return-to-Work function for Warrina Homes.Provide input into employee communication, ensuring a positive and respectful approach.Conduct Human Resources analysis, audits and compile reports.Execute and implement change in consultation with employees and other stakeholders.Keep up to date with legislative changes and discuss potential impacts with the Line Manager.ABOUT YOU This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team in making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable people.

For this appointment, Warrina Homes is seeking an established Human Resources professional with a strong people-focussed approach.
Candidates with the following experiences and skillsets are encouraged to apply: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or equivalent.Proven experience in Human Resources Management and related functions.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the role.Ability to build rapport and demonstrate respectful interactions with employees and other stakeholders.Ability to balance working independently and as part of a team to contribute to achieving the team's objectives.High level of computer literacy.Excellent communication, reporting, writing and auditing skills.An eye for detail with a passion for systems and continuous improvement.Passionate about the delivery of quality care and services to the elderly.Good understanding of the issues faced by Aged Care residents, their families and employees.Effective time management skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude.An honest, reliable person who is empathetic with the Christian philosophy of Warrina Homes.Aged Care Industry experience would be advantageous.COVID-19 Vaccinations including Booster is highly recommended.Current Aged Care specific Police Clearance (or willing to obtain).Willing to undergo medical assessment.WHAT WE OFFER An attractive salary with access to salary packaging (up to $15,899 for general living expenses plus $2650 for meals and entertainment).Opportunity to have a direct positive impact on the lives of elderly people.Supportive and friendly team that will help you to rise to the challenge.A great workplace culture where all employees are valued.Company that encourages a growth mindset.Access to an Employee Assistance Program.Free on-site parking.Warrina Homes is a non-smoking workplace.
