Novita provides early intervention, rehabilitation, therapy, assistive technology, and disability services to more than 5,000 people living with disability, as well as support for their families and carers.

About the role The Human Resources Manager reports to the Chief People Officer and is responsible for leading and managing the Human Resources and Payroll teams.
In addition to providing operational leadership, this role also serves as a HR Advisor to Novita's Senior Managers, supporting their strategic objectives.
The HR Manager oversees the planning, organisation, execution, and monitoring of contemporary HR practices, ensuring effective team outcomes and alignment with organisational goals.
As the Human Resources Manager, you will work across a broad range of HR activities.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Contributing to the identification and development of organisational changes, policies, and programs, emerging from changes in the Disability Services Sector that affect Novita's workforce requirements.Developing and maintaining a service culture that adds value to employees' and managers' experiences.Contributing to the development of contemporary workforce initiatives throughout the employee life cycle and support the development of HR capability throughout Novita.Creating a positive and collaborative team environment with clear shared goals.Contributing to the organisation by role modelling Novita's ICARE workplace culture and best practice.Ensuring the effective implementation of procedures, work instructions and continuous improvement.About you As well as being aligned with Novita's ICARE values, you will bring:
Experience in a similar role.Exceptional interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.Excellent working knowledge of employment legislation, modern awards, and enterprise agreements.Drive, passion, and commitment to deliver outcomes in all tasks.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build a shared understanding of, and commitment to, a vision.The ability to think logically and analytically with excellent attention to detail.Flexibility and willingness to adapt to an ever-changing internal and external environment.If you don't already hold a current NDIS Worker Check and DHS Working with Children Check, we'll let you know how to obtain these prior to starting work with us.
