About the RoleThis position is based on site at Yarrabee Coal Company and reporting to the Operations Manager. The primary purpose of the Human Resources Manager role is to strategically partner with the operation to deliver productive and proactive solutions focused on HR services. The role supports the achievements of the operational plan through effectively fostering the Yancoal 'Our Way' Cultural and Operating model.
This role is directly responsible for leading and providing direction to a diverse HR team in all facets of HR Services including ER/IR matters, recruitment, performance management and overall cultural alignment of the business.
About YouThe successful applicant will have the following characteristics and abilities:
A strategic mindset and possess strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.Build strong rapport with cross functional departments and the broader Yancoal Group.Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.Develop, implement and monitor cultural improvement strategies for site with constant focus on site success.Supportive of current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.Responsive to Department Manager requests regarding Business improvement.Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in the HR Manager role, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field.5+ years professional experience in a similar position leading and driving teams for success.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coach and develop employees within all levels of the organisation.Proven experience in driving and fostering a positively engaged workplace and its culture.Consultative and collaborative approach to HR services.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical skill with well-developed commercial acumen.BenefitsWe offer competitive remuneration packages for our roles, including:
