The role will be based in Brisbane with occasional travel required for meetings, training, or other work-related activities throughout our network.
This is a new and exciting opportunity at Master Hire for an experienced and suitably qualified HR individual who is passionate about creating positive work environments and realising the potential of our greatest asset – our people.Collaborating with the General Manager - People & Safety, your responsibilities will be to:Maintain, develop and implement effective HR policies and proceduresManage recruitment activities including coordinating job postings, application reviews, managing candidate communication and reference checksMaintain accurate records including personnel files, contracts and other relevant documentation such as position descriptions and personnel formsSupport the performance review process including development and succession planningCoordinate and oversee staff engagement surveys to gather feedback and develop action plansProvide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, compliance matters and performance managementProvide support to the broader management team including trainingAssist with other HR related processes, administration tasks and reportingEnsure compliance with relevant labour laws, regulations and industry standardsStay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and programsAbout youThe ideal candidate will model our shared values and possess the following qualifications and skills:Tertiary qualified in Human Resources or similar is preferred, alternatively demonstrated experience in a related roleStrong understanding of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, and best practiceExcellent communication and collaboration skillsProven ability to be pro-active, manage time and prioritise workloadExceptional organisational skills and attention to detailAble to thrive working independently and as part of a teamHigh level of discretion and confidentiality due to knowledge of sensitive informationProficiency in use of Microsoft Office and related software used for personnel related activitiesIf you are passionate about people and ready to take on a new challenge, we want to hear from you!
