About the role:Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the HR Manager's role at Green Endeavour is pivotal in strategically managing human resources to align with the company's sustainability-driven mission and ambitious growth objectives.
This involves overseeing the recruitment process to attract top talent who share the organisation's values, managing employee relations to foster a positive and collaborative work environment, and implementing performance management systems that drive excellence and innovation.In addition, this role will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and sustainability standards, reflecting the company's commitment to ethical practices.
By focusing on employee engagement, development, and well-being, the HR Manager will help cultivate a motivated and productive workforce that is integral to the company's mission of driving sustainable initiatives.
Through these efforts, the HR Manager will contribute significantly to the overall success and long-term growth of Green Endeavour, ensuring the organisation remains a leader in its industry.
Specifically, key accountabilities include: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring compliance with Australian employment laws.Provide guidance on HR policies and handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions fairly.Develop and manage performance management systems to align with organisational goals.Implement and oversee Learning and Development programs in line with Australian Qualifications Framework standards.Administer employee compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with Australian wage laws.Promote diversity and inclusion, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.Enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention through various initiatives.Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with Australian Privacy Principles and data protection laws.Ensure compliance with WH&S policies and complete all relevant safety and compliance training.Stay informed on changes in Australian employment legislation, ensuring the organisation remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.Travel to Green Endeavour's warehouses monthly to support HR operations and maintain strong connections with on-site teams.The Person:Holding relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, you will need to bring proven experience in HR leadership roles from a similar industry sector, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage and lead HR functions.
With a deep understanding of Australian labour law and HR best practices, you will ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks for the organisation.
Ideally your background will include a strong record of leading teams and managing HR departments successfully.Equipped with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be adept at handling sensitive situations with diplomacy and maintaining positive relationships across the organisation.
Your proactive problem-solving approach, combined with a solid ethical framework, guides your decision-making processes, ensuring that you address challenges effectively and responsibly.Highly adaptable, the new HR Manager will need to stay informed on the latest HR trends and adjusts strategies accordingly to navigate change within a growing organisation.You will need to possess strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and organisational capabilities, all while maintaining a positive attitude and aligning with the organisation's values.
