Human Resources Manager (12-month Fixed Term Contract) Lagardère AWPL is the Pacific region's largest and most experienced Travel Retail operator with over 150+ stores across Australia, New Zealand and Noumea, with 2000+ engaged & passionate team members. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Implement Key Initiatives: Drive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Performance Management, Remuneration processes, and Recognition. Stay updated on Industrial Relations to ensure compliance and proactive change management. Empower Your Team: Lead and mentor HR Business Partners across AU & NZ, fostering a culture of coaching, support, and compliance with employment laws and industry standards. Build Leadership Capability: Partner with key stakeholders to enhance leadership skills, ensuring effective people management and a performance-focused mindset. Enhance Talent and Succession Planning: Focus on hiring excellence, career growth, and succession planning to ensure a robust talent pipeline that aligns with business strategy. Streamline Policies and Processes: Refine frameworks to boost clarity, consistency, and safety. Establish a strong performance framework that aligns personal accountability with organisational goals. Support Chief of People & Culture: Act as a strategic advisor, driving initiatives that align with the broader people and culture agenda. What You Bring: Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields. Experience: Proven experience as an HR Manager or a similar leadership role. Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels. HR Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of best practices and regulations across AU & NZ and clear experience with complex employee relations management. Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
