This is a targeted position. Based in Brisbane CBD, we have the perfect entry point for a highly motivated and driven recent HR Graduate (or close to graduating) looking to grow and gain hands-on experience. This role will work with our People, Culture and Capability Team and support the team in a broad range of HR activities. Build your skill set and gain further experience within HR in a unique industry and as part of a fantastic team.
This role offers the chance for you to gain experience by work closely with experienced practitioners in all areas of People, Culture and Capability to observe and learn about each function. We support our staff through ongoing development opportunities, mentoring, and a balanced approach to work.
In this role you will rotate through a variety of Human Resource settings and receive exposure to:
End to end recruitment activities including proactive candidate careJob design, evaluation and capability frameworks in the Queensland GovernmentEmployee relations processesPayrollWork health and SafetyLearning and development and eventsEventsAbout you You must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management (or equivalent) or be due to graduate before commencing in the role in July 2024.
You have learned to analyse and interpret legislation and industrial instruments through tertiary study.You can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.You demonstrate a willingness to learn and act on constructive feedback.You can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and have strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.You foster an inclusive workplace where inclusion, diversity and wellbeing are promoted and prioritised.We want to give you the opportunity to grow with us and in return we offer:
