As a small but growing team, we work together to assist employer members and clients with their workplace concerns and problems to achieve positive outcomes.About The PositionIn a typical day, you will assist members and clients with matters such as (but not limited to):Drafting bespoke employment contracts and Individual Flexibility AgreementsOrganisation policy and procedure manual reviewsEmployment contract and award classification reviewsWorkforce design and redesign, including running redundancy processes on behalf of the employerPerformance management processes - you act as our member's HR ManagerDelivery of in-house training to members and clientsIn addition, you will also:Provide support to the Workplace Advisory telephone service teamDraft and deliver webinars as part of the team's education programProduce educational material including articles and guidance documentsTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Current (or soon to be realised) qualifications such as in law, business, or a related disciplineKnowledge of employment and associated legislation and best practice principlesDemonstrated ability to analyze issues, establish a course of action and adopt a pro-active attitude with minimal directionExcellent research skills and high-level verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated high level of confidentiality, tact, discretion, initiative and judgementAvailability to work daily between 8:30 am and 5:00 pmBusiness Chamber Queensland will provide you with:Flexible working optionsA paid day off on your birthdayIndustrial Relations Society of Queensland membershipAn opportunity to make a difference for Queensland's employersTo ApplySound like a great job?
