We are seeking an enthusiastic practitioner to join the Workplace Advisory Services team on a full-time basis.
As a small but growing team, we work together to assist employer members and clients with their workplace concerns and problems to achieve positive outcomes.
About The Position In a typical day, you will assist members and clients with matters such as (but not limited to):
Drafting bespoke employment contracts and Individual Flexibility Agreements Organisation policy and procedure manual reviews Employment contract and award classification reviews Workforce design and redesign, including running redundancy processes on behalf of the employer Performance management processes - you act as our member's HR Manager Delivery of in-house training to members and clients In addition, you will also:
Provide support to the Workplace Advisory telephone service team Draft and deliver webinars as part of the team's education program Produce educational material including articles and guidance documents To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Current (or soon to be realised) qualifications such as in law, business, or a related discipline Knowledge of employment and associated legislation and best practice principles Demonstrated ability to analyze issues, establish a course of action and adopt a pro-active attitude with minimal direction Excellent research skills and high-level verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated high level of confidentiality, tact, discretion, initiative and judgement Availability to work daily between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm Business Chamber Queensland will provide you with: Flexible working options A paid day off on your birthday Industrial Relations Society of Queensland membership An opportunity to make a difference for Queensland's employers To Apply Sound like a great job?
