Position Summary Provide general support to the HR team (including risk management) and providing advice when required for Australia and New Zealand locations.
Develops training materials and other written communication.
Assists in internal and external reporting requirements.

Job Duties/Essential Functions Ability to interpret the Employee Agreement/Handbook/Collective Agreement and/or Company policies and procedures and provide advice when necessary.
Reviewing procedures to ensure Costco is compliant with legislation and updating training materials for consistency.
Assist and work with the HR team with various projects.
Drafts various written communications, including letters or other communications Uses judgment and discretion to interpret, create, apply and communicate Costco policy and procedure Develops a strong working relationship with Assistant Warehouse Managers, Admin Managers, Payroll Clerks, Return to Work Coordinators, Location Managers, Vice Presidents, and Executives.
Develop, implement and run reports on a periodic and as needs basis for internal and external reporting.
Assist in auditing HR/risk management related matters.
Manages the breakroom board for HR to ensure documentation is always current and intranet is updated.
HR systems – maintain and look for opportunities within the HR / risk systems to drive efficiencies for the business and maintain compliance.
Various HR admin tasks - assists with vendor set up and gathering relevant information, maintaining HR contact lists etc.
Update the intranet and assist with the implementation of a new intranet platform for all HR & risk materials.
Assists with insurance claims management including notifications to the third-party administrator.
Designs, creates and edits effective training materials such as online and blended learning courses, assessments, videos, job aids, instruction guides, documentation.
Administration of compliance for licences, visas, training etc that are employment related.
General HR duties such as posting job ads, answering general HR queries, managing the HR and recruitment email accounts.
Data entry of employee benefit claims including any system testing for new benefit set up.
Assisting in organising, travel and accommodation bookings, meetings, training and diary appointments.
Works within a team environment to accomplish departmental goals.
Assists in other areas of the department and company as needed.
Complete goals/projects according to pre-determined deadlines.
Requirements Tertiary Education in HR, Business Managemenet or related field.
Australian Driver's License.
Must have valid work rights in both Australia & New Zealand - Please note that Australian/New Zealand Citizens and Permanent Residents have working rights in both countries under the Trans-Tasman Travel Arrangement Excellent Communication Skills - Verbal and Written Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) Strong MS Excel Skills (V-Lookup & Pivot Tables) Ability to travel (Within NSW, Interstate or to New Zealand) at short notice.
If successful, you will be required to undertake role & department specific training within specified timeframes
