The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will play a pivotal role in aligning our HR strategy with business objectives. This role involves partnering with management to drive HR practices that support business goals, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance with Australian employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies. Work with managers to identify talent needs, support career development, and ensure a diverse and skilled workforce.
Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters. Address and resolve employee concerns, conduct investigations as needed, and ensure a positive and compliant work environment.
Performance Management: Implement and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews. Support managers in addressing performance issues and development needs.
HR Policies and Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with Australian employment legislation and best practices. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance employee skills and organizational capabilities. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
HR Metrics and Reporting: Analyze HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and track the effectiveness of HR initiatives. Prepare and present reports to senior management as required.
Organizational Development: Support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions. Facilitate change management processes and support employees through transitions.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., CIPD, AHRI) is desirable.
Proven experience (3+ years) as an HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably in the energy or industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
