SALARY: $1,792.38 - 2,054.39 pw + Super
Work Type: Temporary Full Time up to 12 months
Location: Oran Park Administration Building - 70 Central Avenue, Oran Park 2570
An exciting opportunity to join Camden Council's People Learning and Culture team as a Human Resource Business Partner has become available. This full-time temporary position provides a great opportunity to showcase your skills and experience and get a taste for the Local Government sector. Essential Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience
Demonstrated ability to apply industrial awards, employment legislation, policies and procedure to delivery of Human Resources services
Extensive experience in the delivery of recruitment and selection services including the ability to consult and develop recruitment strategies
Proven ability to contribute towards the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to meet the needs of the organisation
Highly developed interpersonal skills, both written and oral and the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
Ability to resolve complex issues through legislation, negotiation and the application of sound judgement
Demonstrated ability to apply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and to act with probity and confidentiality at all times

Desirable Qualifications

Ability to provide generalist support in other functional areas such as industrial relations and learning and development
Experience delivering training to both individuals and small groups
Experience in Local Government

To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate will be based on operational needs.
