About the Role We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for a newly created role within our regional HR team. This full-time position is based at our Kwinana Pigment Processing facility, where you will support business function Directors. Reporting directly to the Regional HR Director, you will need strong influencing and partnering skills to work effectively with both Directors and Manager level stakeholders. You should be comfortable working autonomously and hands-on, driving and implementing changes aligned with our organisational direction. Additionally, you will partner with our growing offices in the Asian region, supported by a Regional HR Officer based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with IT, Supply, and Finance leaders in Australia and a small leadership team in Asia to deliver comprehensive HR services. Team Collaboration: Work closely with site HR teams to ensure alignment and cohesion across operations. Best Practices: Drive best practices in HR processes and programs. Manager Support: Assist line managers in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, enhancing capabilities, and increasing employee engagement. HR Strategy: Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of HR strategies, initiatives, and procedures at a local level. Performance Improvement: Improve manager and employee performance through guidance and coaching. Workforce Planning: Identify and plan for workforce requirements and business needs to promote a positive employment relationship and a high-performance culture. Attributes of the Successful Applicant Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline. Experience: Practical experience in a HR generalist role working with senior business leaders. Legal Knowledge: Proficiency in Australian employment laws and a desire to develop similar knowledge in Asian jurisdictions. Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills for successful relationship building. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, effective time management, planning, and task evaluation. Initiative: Ability to take initiative and resolve pending issues. Technical Skills: High level of computer literacy, data management, and systems orientation.
