The Human Resource Business Partner role offers you the chance to grow personally and professionally within a supportive team environment. This role will involve consistently delivering high-level, expert HR advice, support, and coaching that yields tangible business benefits and outcomes. You will positively influence, guide and enhance our leadership capabilities through collaboration and flexibility being the key attributes. You will work within a team environment to ensure high-quality outcomes for Human Resources, employees, and stakeholders across QBCC.
Establish and maintain key client relationships through development of in-depth knowledge of clients business context and objectives and related people management challenges.
Collaborate closely with the wider HR division to identify, strategies, and execute HR solutions that address client priorities while aligning with organizational HR strategies.
Partnering with clients to foster a positive culture within QBCC, promoting high performance, leadership development, and staff well-being.
Provide robust, practical, and strategic HR expertise, guidance, and services as an integral member of a seamless and client-oriented HR team and support leadership decisions and actions. These services encompass:
Working with managers to devise local strategies and initiatives to enhance engagement, culture, and capability, drawing from broader organisational programs and whole of sector initiatives and legislative direction.
Advising on organisational design, encompassing workforce planning with a focus on talent management, succession planning, and workforce capability development.
Leading the implementation and ongoing management of organizational change initiatives.
Partnering with the recruitment team to provide insights and guidance on recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
Coaching managers in effectively navigating performance management processes and outcomes.
