The successful person to join our team will provide a wide variety of HR-related tasks within the full employment life cycle, as well as processing payroll and supporting the Operating Companies with health & safety.
The position will also provide general support from a HR and WHS perspective as we integrate new assets into our expanding platforms.Key Responsibilities:Provide support to the Human Resources Manager and various Managers in our Platforms with payroll, recruitment, induction, WHS, workers compensation/injury management and employee review processes.Process payroll and ensure all the legal obligations are met.Involvement in recruitment activities which can involve drafting advertisements, screening applications, conducting interviews and reference checks and communication with candidates.Complete the job offer process and ensure the onboarding process is executed in a timely manner.Support Platform Managers to follow and implement HR processes to ensure business compliance against relevant policies, procedures, legislation and regulations.Support the organisation's WHS management system and HR processes.Maintain strong record keeping across HR, payroll and WHS.Other HR related tasks as required which include coaching and mentoring managers in HR related matters, conducting exit interviews and preparing data for reporting purposes.Provide input for continuous improvement in systems and process efficiency.The CandidateTo be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate the following:Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position.Experience in processing payroll with a high attention to detail is a must.High level proficiency in Microsoft products.Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.Ability to successfully manage time with multiple tasks and competing deadlines.Demonstrate integrity, respect and resilience, taking accountability for the delivery of the assigned tasks.A strong track record to successfully manage and prioritise multiple stakeholders seamlessly.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong team orientation and the ability to work autonomously.Experience working in the agricultural industry will be advantageous.Tertiary qualifications in a Human Resources discipline is desirable but not essential.Knowledge of WHS legislation, standards and practices would be beneficial.A current driver's licence and the ability to undertake occasional travel throughout regional Australia.The CompanyGunn Agri Partners (GAP) was established in 2013 and provides agricultural investment and farm management services for Australian, North American, and European investors.
