18th November, 2024 Position : Human Resources Advisor Start : 25th November 2024 Duration : 6 months Salary : $75.00 per hour plus superannuation Location : Sydney Primary Purpose of the Position Reporting to the Team Leader Regulatory Support, you are expected to: To assist staff with recruitment, organisational restructure, creation of new positions and review of budget bids.
Regarding workforce planning, the successful applicant should be comfortable working with financial administration matters concerning staffing and government processes.
Key accountabilities/responsibilities: Manage the delivery of talent acquisition services including candidate attraction, selection, assessment and management in line with best practice methodologies, legislative and Public Service Commission guidelines to support ongoing operational demands and the delivery of contemporary talent and resourcing initiatives and solutions to support the development of a high performing workforce.
Manage and lead the provision of expert advice, coaching and support to management and staff on talent acquisition methodologies and matters, that respond to business requirements, promote best practice and compliance with legislation and Government policy and principles, support organisational strategies and build organisational effectiveness.
Maintain an appreciation and understanding of the business, its challenges, and objectives and develop strong customer and team relationships to ensure that services effectively reflect needs and meet customer and portfolio requirements Manage projects, and oversee all aspects of the project cycle, including developing plans, identifying and coordinating resources, managing budgets, supplier and contract management, stakeholder consultation and meeting reporting requirements ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements to successfully deliver all key milestones and outcomes Maintain awareness of relevant issues, policy obligations, insights, challenges industry trends and practices and opportunities to recommend innovative solutions that optimise outcomes and contribute to a best practice talent acquisition function in line with organisational and government priorities Desirable Experience working for State Government.
