Roster: 4D3R FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Port Hedland
Reporting to: the Superintendent People, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to provide advice, guidance, and support to the site leadership team and the wider workforce on matters relating to performance management, employee relations, industrial relations, employee engagement and retention, reporting, training and development, and succession planning.
Key Responsibilities Work in conjunction with site leadership teams to ensure the effective implementation and management of Fortescue People policies, practices, and procedures to ensure an optimal working environment is supported alongside the promotion of Fortescue's culture and values Provide guidance to the site leadership teams and wider workforce on Fortescue policies and procedures, employee relations, industrial relations, etc. Support leaders with organizational reviews as required Drive regular Fortescue People initiatives, in line with agreed timelines Initiate, manage and contribute to major Fortescue People reports, projects, committees, reviews, and continuous improvement activities Support and facilitate leadership development training Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or other relevant field Demonstrated experience working in an HR generalist role covering IR/ER, performance management, organizational development, and HR reporting functions Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, promote, and uphold Fortescue People initiatives and company values with discretion and confidentiality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the business, including interviewing, counseling, negotiating, and report writing Well-developed organizational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize Our Commitment Fortescue is deeply committed to providing a safe culture that builds respect, fosters inclusiveness, and values diversity.
