This is a permanent full-time position in our HR & Safety Program Area. This position at entry level is classified as a level six (6) or level seven (7) depending on your skills and work experience. Banded annual salary between $93,707.33 and $102,972.18 plus superannuation. Other benefits include district allowance, generous leave provisions of six weeks and organisational support in professional development and managing your wellbeing. About the Opportunity: The position reports to the HR Services Manager. If successful, you will be responsible for providing situational specific, high quality, compliant and best practice human resources and employee relations advisory services to City of Darwin's stakeholders. Advisory services will focus on industrial relations compliance, performance management, including onboarding, employee grievances, complaints and employee separation. You will also be responsible for, but not limited to: Contributing to continuous improvement of our workforce practices and processes by ensuring HR related policies, procedures and business instructions are up to date Reviewing and maintaining HR related documentation including contracts of employment, contract amendments and variation and general HR administration Broadening and increasing the capability of our leaders in HR Management skills through the provision of coaching and education to supervisors and managers.
