An exciting, permanent opportunity exists for a Human Resources Advisor within the Land Transport Safety and Regulation (LTSR) Branch, based in Brisbane.
In the role of Human Resources Advisor, you will provide a range of high-quality human resource management advice and consultancy services to a range of stakeholders and undertake key human resource management activities.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide both operational and strategic advice to management and staff within LTSR and the Office of the Deputy Director General (CSSR) to ensure human resource management practices are contributing to the strategic objectives of the branches.Prepare workforce data and insights that will support leaders to make informed decisions, optimise workforce performance and foster a positive work environment.Research and analyse human resource management issues, identify key areas for improvement and develop appropriate strategies to ensure better practices.Ensure human resource policies and procedures are effectively implemented.Build and maintain effective relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including internal customers, departmental colleagues, senior management and any other government agencies.Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging public-sector initiatives, concepts strategies and issues and take appropriate action.Some of the additional benefits this opportunity offers include:
