ABOUT US: Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) Flexible Schools Ltd educates over 2,200 young people in 22 Flexible Learning Schools (12 based in Queensland and 10 other schools across Australia) and serves young people who experience complex educational, social or psychological situations which demand unique responses. They enable young people to engage in education in a supported learning environment through a methodology based on trauma-informed practice, in which the principles of operation (Honesty, Respect, Participation, Safe & Legal) are embedded. ABOUT THE ROLE: The Human Resources Advisor is responsible for co-ordinating the recruitment and onboarding of staff, administration of employment documentation, accurate employee payroll data management and overseeing exit practices in conjunction with Management. The role will act in a support capacity on key HR projects as required. This is a continuing, full-time position, commencing as soon as negotiated. Location: Eagle Farm Office. KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE: Understanding of and commitment to the values of a Catholic educational system of schools in the Edmund Rice tradition. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field. Minimum two (2) years' experience in an Advisor-level role. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations (Modern Awards, National Employment Standards, Fair Work and Work Health and Safety Acts and Regulations). Excellent computer and Microsoft Office Suite skills (in particular, Word and Excel). Autonomous, with demonstrated initiative and motivation to manage competing priorities, monitor progress, and meet operational demands. Excellent interpersonal and professional communication (both written and verbal) skills to effectively collaborate with administrators, staff, and external stakeholders in an articulate and professional manner. Ability to establish cooperative and positive working relationships to work as an effective team member or independently, in an agile and responsive manner. Demonstrated professionalism and integrity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion as required. Ability to diagnose problems, foresee potential issues and devise appropriate responses. Ability to lead, work in, and collaborate across teams with integrity and humility.
