THE ROLE We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing HR support and guidance to management and employees across all aspects of the employment lifecycle. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Advise and support management on all aspects of HR, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary matters.Coordinate the advertising of job vacancies and manage the recruitment process, including interviewing and testing of applicants.Provide expertise in maintaining accurate personnel records and utilizing human resource information systems (HRIS) to manage employee data effectively.Arrange and conduct induction sessions for new employees, ensuring they receive necessary information on conditions of service, salaries, and promotional opportunities.Receive and record job vacancy information from employers, including details on job descriptions, wages, and employment conditions.Facilitate negotiations on terms and conditions of employment and work to resolve disputes and grievances.Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, awards, collective agreements, and employment contracts to ensure compliance.Develop and implement enterprise agreements or collective contracts, including productivity-based wage adjustment procedures and workplace relations policies.Oversee the formation and operation of workplace consultative committees and employee participation initiatives to foster a positive work environment.ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.Proven experience in a similar HR advisory role, with a strong understanding of HR practices and employment law.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions to complex HR issues.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software applications.High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: Weekly technical training and development from a number of Australia's top agents to support your successUnlimited access to our open data base as well as qualified lead generationOngoing business and leadership coaching to support your career goals and professional developmentYour birthday off every year to celebrate how you wantOne day off at a time of your choice to volunteer at a charity of your choosingFlexibility and freedom to work when and where you wantThe opportunity to qualify for Centurion (all expenses paid overseas holiday) plus several fun team events including the Annual Awards & Christmas PartyMake a difference by working with a company that has a solid Environmental PolicyYOUR FUTURE AT THE CORONIS GROUP:
