Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) 1 x Permanent Part Time position – 24 hours per week 1 x Fixed Term Part Time position – up to 32 hours per week November 2024 until November 2025 (parental leave backfill) Casual opportunity also available Management & Administrative Officers Grade 2 ($33.78 per hour excluding salary packaging) Our Human Resources Department is seeking exceptional administrators to provide support to the Human Resources team. You will be our front facing point of contact, responsible for providing welcoming and professional service to all WGHG staff via online, phone and face to face contact.Specific tasks include preparing various employment related paperwork, onboarding new staff, maintaining staff databases and other general data entry and administration duties. This is a busy role and requires an ability to juggle multiple tasks and a varied workload.
We have a permanent term part time position of 24 hours per week available, which may be worked over 3 or 4 days. We also have a fixed time part time position available of 24 to 32 hours per week to provide 12 months cover for parental leave backfill. In addition to the two part time roles, we are also seeking expressions of interest for casual employees to join the Human Resources Administration team. Casuals are employed on an 'as needs' basis to backfill leave. These positions are based at the Warragul Hospital site.

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills & experience: A background in HR, Business Administration or Health AdministrationSuperb customer service skills with exceptional attention to detailExperience working with a Human Resource Information Management Systems (HRIS) or similar customer/client database; MS Office and other administrative softwareOutstanding organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks consecutivelyThe ability to work well as part of a small professional teamIMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies).
