POSITION DESCRIPTION The Organisation May Shaw Health Centre Inc. (MSHC) is an incorporated not for profit organisation.
May Shaw Health Centre incorporates May Shaw Swansea, and May Shaw Aminya, Scottsdale.
Our Swansea site incorporates a 50 bed Residential Aged Care Facility, 18 independent living units, an Urgent Care Centre, 3 sub-acute beds and a variety of Home Care packages and services.
Our Scottsdale site incorporates a 61 bed Residential Aged Care Facility and a variety of Home Care packages and services.

Position Purpose The purpose of this role is to assist, develop and coordinate the delivery of the MHSC's human resources "Program of Work".
Autonomy This position is directly responsible to their immediate manager, Director of People and Culture, for all aspects of service delivery/duties under their control.
Role Accountabilities 1.
Coordinate and administer recruitment and selection activities 2.
Administration of employment contracts/changes 3.
Coordinate and administer onboarding processes and procedures 4.
Coordinate and administer employee exit processes and procedures 5.
Assist with the coordination and administration of work, health and safety processes and procedures 6.
Coordinate and administer employee probation and performance appraisal processes and procedures 7.
Assist with administration of employee training requirements, including tracking completion 8.
Assist with administration of employee reward and recognition processes and procedures 9.
Coordinate and manage all employee record keeping activities 10.
Coordinate and administer human resources reporting requirements 11.
Undertake and successfully complete allocated project tasks within required timeframes 12.
Coordinate and administer all human resources forms, templates and standard letter 13.
Generalist HR administration across the full cycle of human resource management (from hire to retire) 14.
Proficient and accurate maintenance of systems and processes pertaining to human resources 15.
Assist in process and system improvements for efficient and effective human resources administration 16.

Selection Criteria Essential Qualifications and Experience Successful completion of senior secondary education (further education related to the role responsibilities is desirable but not essential) Understanding of the full suite of human resource management (HRM), from hire to retire, with the ability to translate best practice knowledge into effective HRM practices Ability to learn and develop competence in new systems (HR, payroll, learning, etc) and competence with the MS Office suite, including excel Solid understanding of relevant legislation, compliance, and best practice in HRM with the ability to translate that knowledge into efficient and effective employment processes.
