Human Resources & Administration Officer Located in the beautiful South-West corridor, right on the beach in Busselton, Bayview Geographe Resort is set amongst 28 acres of natural tree and bush covered landscape.
Offering over 100 private resort Villas, and prime location to the beach and township, we are in the industry of Hospitality and Tourism, which means our people are our most important asset.
As the Human Resources and Administrative Officer, you are responsible for overseeing the entire employment cycle of our people, ensuring that we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works together to realize our established goals and objectives.
You will be overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employment relations, training & development and performance management under the direction of our Human Resources team located in our Head Office.
You will possess exceptional communication skills, organizational management qualities and be a proven leader in this space.
This role reports to: The General Manager Key Responsibilities Carry out all HR functions of the business.
Drive the recruitment process to ensure we employ the best people.
Manage the onboarding process and conduct company inductions.
Manage and action any employment changes and liaise with the Accounts team.
Oversee all Workplace Health & Safety reporting and compliance across the business.
Develop training programs and personal development plans for all employees.
Assist with the performance management process for all departments.
Own and modernize the HR process and record keeping.
Carry out the employee quarterly reward and recognition program and staff incentives.
Keep up to date with Australian HR best practices and relevant legislations.
Monitor and update the current WH&S plan and encourage a culture of WH&S awareness.
Assist with general administration duties for the Resort.
Carry out any other tasks as directed by the HR Director or General Manager.
Skills and Experience At least 2 years experience in a Human Resources role.
A degree in a relevant field or the equivalent experience.
Experience with Australian employment law, Immigration and Workplace Health & Safety.
Experience working in hospitality and with the HIGA Award would be advantageous.
Committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
Proficient in MS Office.
Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and focus on quality output.
Willingness to proactively problem solve where possible.
Experience with hospitality would be advantageous.
