Established in 1978 as the first remote Aboriginal Medical Service in Western Australia, BRAMS provides comprehensive, culturally responsive primary health care, social and emotional wellbeing services, and NDIS support to local Aboriginal people. With a team of experienced health professionals, including Aboriginal Health Workers, GPs, Nurses, Psychologists, and more, BRAMS is committed to improving health outcomes in our community through collaborative efforts.
How You'll Make a Difference:We are now looking for a full-time Human Resources Administration Officer based in Broome, Western Australia. Reporting to the People and Culture Executive Manager, this role provides essential HR support across the organisation, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee compliance, and staff development.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to interview schedulingActing as the main point of contact for recruitment inquiries and maintaining candidate engagementFacilitating the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and coordinating trainingMaintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts and certificationsAssisting with employee training and development to ensure team members have required skills and resourcesSupporting the HR platform and assisting employees with HR-related inquiriesContributing to wellness programs aimed at improving staff well-beingEnsuring adherence to BRAMS' values, policies, and safety protocolsPromoting a positive and collaborative workplace cultureChampioning BRAMS' commitment to safeguarding children and young people in all aspects of the roleSupporting the Quality Care Framework and achieving relevant performance indicatorsWhat You'll Bring to the Team:To qualify, you will need a minimum of three years of experience in an administrative role. While not essential, any qualification or previous experience in Human Resources will be highly regarded.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
Knowledge of HR administration and compliance practicesStrong organisational skills with an ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectivelyProficiency in computer systems, with the ability to quickly learn new softwareExperience in employee wellness and engagement initiativesFamiliarity with recruitment and onboarding processesAs our ideal candidate, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to handle sensitive matters with professionalism. You will be self-motivated and detail-oriented, capable of working independently and as part of a team, while embodying our values of respect, integrity, accountability, and quality.
