Pay rate: $61.78 per hour + super
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 5 months from start date
Location: Blacktown
About your new role

Ensure that Council's human resources system documentation (e.g. policies, procedures), are properly
administered and communicated throughout counci
Maintain knowledge of and provide advice on relevant internal (e.g. procedures, policies etc.) and
external (e.g. legislative changes) HR, recruitment and industrial information
Action all internal and external correspondence and documentation appropriately
Assist with the development, maintenance and delivery of applicable operational aspects of the Council's
Workforce Management Plan
Support the effective management of Council's HR, recruitment and industrial activities
Promote and coordinate of Council's recruitment activities

What you will need

Relevant tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field - Diploma or above and/ or relevant experience in
human resources, recruitment and employee relations
Demonstrated well developed communication and interpersonal skills, sound analytical and problem solving skills
Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn corporate systems and
applications
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary human resource practices and current issues
