Calling all Human Resource professionals! This is a Permanent - Full Time or Fixed Term appointment at various hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. WACHS Wheatbelt is seeking applications from applicants that are passionate and driven about Human Resources.

The Wheatbelt Human Resource team contributes to workforce strategy, organisational design, and succession planning to foster and engage an inclusive and high-performing workforce.
About the Opportunity: This position provides the point of contact for senior managers and Health Support Services in relation to pay and employment service issues.
It also provides a Human Resources support service to managers and employees within the Wheatbelt region in relation to general employment conditions, while providing comprehensive administrative support to the Wheatbelt Human Resources team in supporting the management and operations of the Human Resource Services.
It also assists in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies and practices.
Area Profile: The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area.
The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services, and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, but it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout the health service.
In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
