Monthly Rostered Days Off, Flexible Working Hours & Supportive Environment. Temporary Full Time 12 months secondment relief (until May 2025) Salary Classification: Administration Officer Level 6 Year 1 - 2  Remuneration: $39.14 - $40.07 per hour + superannuation +  salary packaging options  designed to reduce your taxable income. About the role The Human Resources Officer is responsible for assisting the Human Resources team with the provision of effective and efficient Human Resource services and programs. This role provides professional, expert advice and support across the full range of recruitment activities and works closely with the Department Managers to understand hiring requirements to attract, select and retain high calibre candidates. Key Responsibilities Provide timely and accurate transactional recruitment, selection, on-boarding and appointment activities services with limited instruction and guidance, including processing and scheduling recruitment actions, investigating and rectifying minor problems. Provide advice, guidance and coaching to recruiting managers using the Calvary People Platform ensuring a high level of customer service. Effectively manage a broad range of administration and HR requests and communication by utilising appropriate tracking protocols to ensure deadlines are met and varying priorities are considered. Working in a demanding, busy and complex environment with competing priorities and strict deadlines. Exercising independent initiative to problem solve, triage or manage significant issues. Complete contract variations for employees with changing conditions of employment, including return from parental leave, variations in hours, contract extensions. What you bring   Relevant qualification in human resource management or related area and/or relevant experience within a HR environment. Strong demonstrated understanding of recruitment principles and processes. Demonstrated capacity to understand and interpret enterprise agreements and HR policies and procedures Demonstrated experience in providing efficient administrative support with the ability to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity.
