Position description: Human Resource Officer will play a critical role in assisting HR Manager In managing the HR Functions within the organization.
Main tasks
· Diploma or higher in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution, and/or extensive equivalent relevant industry experience in similar roles within blue collar environments.
· Strong personal values corresponding with Trust, Honesty, Alignment and Transparency.
·Contemporary knowledge of, and commitment to, equal opportunity and related anti-discrimination legislation, understanding of the principles underpinning the integration and application of provisions in common law agreements, industrial awards, certified agreements, and employment legislation.
· Demonstrated skill in drafting, interpreting, and applying human resources in a medium to large multi-disciplinary organization (matrix environment advantageous).
· High level of confidentiality and ability to exercise discretion in a professional manner.
· High level computer skills encompassing word processing, database and spread sheets with an ability to also adapt to corporate software applications quickly.
· Demonstrated skills in preparing correspondence, report writing, research and data analysis.
· Well-developed interpersonal and oral communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with a range of internal and external customers, at varying layers and levels using a range of mediums.

Person Specification Qualifications
· Diploma or higher-level education in Similar Discipline
· Proven experience in similar role
· Current First Aid certificate
Experience
· 2 years of experience as a Human Resource Officer or in a similar role.

Salary expectations: · $65000 to $70000 excl Super annually
